A 75 Year old Sigbritt Lthberg’s from Central Sweden has
been using the fastest internet connection in Earth.
The internet connection
speed is 40 Gigabits/sec, many thousands of times faster than the average
residential link .This means she can watch 1,500 high definition HDTV channels
simultaneously or she can download a full high definition DVD in just two sec.
Why Sigbritt Lthberg’s?
Sigbritt is no ordinary; she is the mother of Swedish
internet legend Peter Lothberg. According to Network boss Hafsteinn John “This
is more than just a demonstration”.
As a network owner we’re trying to persuade internet
operators to invest in faster connections. Peter Lothberg wanted to show how
you can build a low price, high capacity internet connection over long distances.
How is it Possible?
The secret behind Sigbritt ultra fast connection is a
new modulation technology which allows data to be transferred directly between
two routers up to 2,000km apart, with no intermediary transponders.
As fiber optic cable helps not to have data loss which
is also the main reasons behind speed.
Sigbritt who had never had a computer until now, the
most difficult part of the project was installing Windows on
Sigbritt Pc.
Later Sigbritt reduced her internet connection speed to
10Gigabits/sec to save energy.
FACT: According to Guinness World Record & Cisco the
country having fastest internet connection is South Korea, with an average
download speed with 33.5 megabits/sec.
